Have you talked to a vet about the kittens peeing on stuff? Often its a sign of a uti or something similar, especially if they are pooing in the litterbox.

I don't think it's a UTI because they use the litter when I keep them locked in the bathroom. It's just when they're let out that they forget that the litter is still there. I'm slowly trying to transition them into being in other rooms of the house, hopefully they'll catch on. They are 3 months, they should be getting it by now.
