HOLY FUCK I did not sign up for this weather.

I almost blacked out about 4 times today at work. And I was drinking a ton of water, keeping my face cool, everything. Ugh. They say it's going to last until Wednesday. And when it breaks, the big earthquake is going to kill us all. Wonderful.

I went to the gym, which actually apparently cooled me down quite a bit. Weird. Life is weird, isn't it?

I should go stretch and do my crunches. And then eat something. And then pass out before the heat gets to me again. I tried to go to Target today to get a fan but the traffic on La Brea was just terrible so I ducked out at 8th St. and made my way home relatively unscathed. I say relatively because some bitch gave me a dirty look as she was cutting me off. I could really use that fan right now, though.

Adam will be here in 8 days! Of course it's looking more and more like I'll barely see him. I still need to get him something for his birthday. I don't think I can top the Steve Martin comedy records. They were so perfect he thought of them himself - two days before his birthday, after I'd bought them 4 months early off eBay and hidden them under the bed. Oh my God I wanted to kill him for ruining my surprise. He deserves no presents!

There's a Snikers in the fridge with my name on it. Such a healthy dinner, I know.
