You don't believe in making things easy do you Serena? This is a tricky one. I can't seem to locate a single word that means "Wild and Beautiful but with a hint of Sadness".

The closest I can come is "Limbo", from Dante's Divine Comedy. A beautiful castle filled with the wise and enlightened but with a subtle air of sadness at having been excluded from the beatific vision.

And yes, it's supposed to be complimentary.

I don't suppose you could make it easier on me to pick a word by being less sad could you?
