It's raining. This is the first rain I have seen since around April.

You'd think I'd be less excited about this. You'd be wrong. Also, the leaves are changing and I love the sound of them crunching beneath my feet. I've missed you, fall. I'm glad we're speaking again.

Off to IKEA we go.

When I went to Alberta for my sister's wedding a few years ago, it didn't rain there, not once, for the week we stayed. It was just unreal. When I came home, it was pouring out, and I'm sure I teared up just a little.

Weather and seasons sometimes feel like home.

Even though I HATE really cold weather, I'm so happy to have something other than sun and 80 degree weather every day. It's been wonderful.
